Book on General Soleimani released in Italy

A book on Iran's late top anti-terror commander General Qassem Soleimani has been released in Italy.

The Imam Mahdi (A.J) Islamic Association in Rome released the book titled ‘Qassem Soleimani, Soldier of God’ on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

The Islamic Revolution toppled the US-backed Pahlavi regime in 1979.

The 250-pages book, ‘Qassem Soleimani, Soldier of God’, includes a number of General Soleimani’s personal letters to his family as well as a number of his speeches.

General Soleimani, who was the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), as well as eight other people during a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport on January 3, 2020.
